The “Empire” star divulged his alleged drug problem after turning himself in Thursday morning on charges he filed a false police report involving a hate crime, TMZ reported . Prosecutors said Abimbola “Abel” Osundairo, one of the brothers who helped Smollett allegedly stage the Jan. 29 hate attack , served as Smollett’s drug dealer, selling him Molly several times since the spring of 2018. This is sad because he had an exciting career but he should have let cooler heads prevail. What amazes me is that people can't seem to make the connection of this hoax and the Empire ratings dip.
