Remy Ma Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Reality TV Star Brittney Taylor

New York, NY – Remy Ma has surrendered to police after being accused of attacking Love & Hip Hop: New York co-star Brittney Taylor. The veteran rapper turned herself in Wednesday (May 1) and was charged with third-degree assault, according to multiple reports . The 38-year-old artist, whose real name is Reminisce Smith, and her reality show castmate allegedly got into an altercation at the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert, which took place at Manhattan’s Irving Plaza on April 16. Taylor told police that Remy punched her in the face. The Love & Hip Hop star also addressed the attack on social media. by: Dominic Patten Just over two months after Bones stars Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz and executive producers Barry Josephson and Kathy Reichs were awarded $179 million in their long-standing profit participation fight with 21st Century Fox , a California judge today heard arguments on the arbitrator’s hefty decision. The now Disney -owned Fox TV studio wasn’t happy with any of the huge sum in the self-dealing dispute. However, Fox isn’t contesting the non-punitive damages of $50,240,048 that arbitrator Peter Lichtman awarded the Bones actors and EPs. At issue specifically this morning was the $128 million in punitive damages he handed the plaintiffs as part of the final award. John Singleton Dies: Trailblazing ‘Boyz N The Hood’ Filmmaker Was 51

John Singleton , the groundbreaking film director, screenwriter and producer, died Monday in Los Angeles after suffering a stroke on April 17. He was 51. A family spokesperson said Singleton passed away peacefully at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, surrounded by his family and friends. “We want to thank the amazing doctors at Cedars-Sinai Hospital for their expert care and kindness and we again want thank all of John’s fans, friends and colleagues for all of the love and support they showed him during this difficult time,” the family said in a statement. Earlier on Monday, the family had made the decision to remove Singleton from life support at Cedars, where he had been in the ICU unit since suffering the stroke 13 days earlier. "Empire" Renewed For Season 6 Without Jussie Smollett ... For Now

April 30, 2019 | 5:58 PM by  Justin Ivey FOX’s  Empire  is returning for a sixth season, but  Jussie Smollett  won’t be rejoining his castmates when production resumes. Although Smollett remains under contract, his character Jamal Lyon isn’t being factored into the show’s plans. “By mutual agreement, the studio has negotiated an extension to Jussie Smollett’s option for season six, but at this time there are no plans for the character of Jamal to return to  Empire ,” FOX and producer 20th Century Fox TV said in a press statement. Smollett was written out of the fifth season’s last two episodes after being  charged with falsifying a police report , which claimed he was the victim of an attack in Chicago.  Prosecutors ended up  dismissing all charges  against him, but the embattled actor’s reputation was severely damaged.   View this post on Instagram ...
