Dave Grohl Leads Lineup For Sammy Hagar's Acoustic-4-A Cure

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl leads an impressive lineup for the fourth annual Acoustic-4-A Cure benefit concert, which is curated by Sammy Hagar and Metallica frontman James Hetfield. Hetfield broke the sad news in the announcement that he will not be able to take part in this year's event, which is scheduled to take place on May 15th at the Fillmore Theater in San Francisco. However, Sammy Hagar will be joined by Grohl, as well as former Eagles guitarist Don Felder, Mick Fleetwood, Grateful Dead icon Bob Weir, Steve Vai, Vic Johnson, Sarah McLachlan and Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo. According to Metallica, "The benefit concert raises funds and awareness for the pediatric cancer research with all proceeds donated to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital."

Weekday Records is a new label created by Pure Noise Records and Sony, with Jule Vera and  Lydia  being the first bands to sign with them. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Announce Album “New Waves” Coming This Summer

Bizzy Bone and Krayzie Bone are Bone Thugs. Iconic Cleveland group  Bone Thugs -N-Harmony haven’t released an album since 2013, if you aren’t counting their Wu-Tang style album  E. 1999 Eternal  that was actioned off to a single bidder for over $1 million. Two of its members are about to change that this summer with a new album titled  New Waves . While many of the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony members are no longer making music (for various reasons), Bizzy Bone and Krayzie Bone have both been active lately. Now the two are reforming into a new iteration of the group, going simple by the name Bone Thugs. Possible Kendrick Lamar Album Tracklist Surfaces Online

A mysterious document credits Kanye West, Andre Benjamin, Rick Rubin, and D'Angelo as contributors to Kendrick's next album. The full credits to Kendrick Lamar's next album appear to have been posted online. The PDF was  posted anonymously on Pastebin  -- hardly a credible source, but the contents of the document appear legitimate. If these credits are incorrect, it is unlikely that they were completely fabricated.  The album is 14 tracks long with a runtime of 74 minutes. Guest appearances include Kanye West, Andre 3000, D'Angelo,  Q-Tip ,  Anderson .Paak , Bilal, Robert Glasper, and Thundercat. Producers include Kanye West,  Terrace Martin , Sounwave, DJ Dahi, Thundercat, Flying Lotus,  Cardo , and  Swizz Beatz . Rick Rubin's name appears as an "additional producer" on several songs. ohn Thomas “Sib” Hashian, the drummer who played on  Boston ‘s first two bestselling LPs, has died at the age of 67, according to ABC affiliate  WCVB . Word of Hashian’s death first arrived from a variety of sources inside the  Legends of Rock cruise , which found him playing Boston hits alongside fellow ex-band member Barry Goudreau, part of a roster of performers that included  Lou Gramm , former  Beach Boy  David Marks and ex- Kansas  singer John Elefante. According to reports, Hashian  collapsed  while performing on the ship. Hashian’s son confirmed those details with  TMZ . Medics on board administered CPR and attempted to resuscitate Hashian with a defibrillator, but their efforts were unsuccessful, WCVB says.
