ABC is trying to one-up Oprah Winfrey's interview with Whitney Houston's family by trying to snag Bobby Brown for an interview. The network already scored an interview with Dionne Warwick, but are trying to get Bobby while the news is still hot. It is said that ABC affiliates are currently scrambling to find Bobby and get him to agree to an interview. As far as pay is involved a network insider says he would be paid something equal to licensing fees, but the network says no pay will be involved. Jason Derulo was forced to cancel his upcoming tour on Thursday after fracturing his neck during rehearsals. According to the singer, he was trying to pull off an acrobatic move when he missed the landing and fell on his neck, causing an acute fracture of his vertebra. Derulo, 22, addressed his fans about the accident on Twitter , posting a picture showing him in a neck brace and hospital gown and explaining, "I fractured my neck doing tumbling & acrobatics 4 tour! Always tryin 2 push boundaries 4 YOU! Like my new chain? ;)." The singer's label also issued a statement from Derulo about the incident, which read, "To all my fans who planned to come to the 'Future History' world tour, the pain of letting you down cuts me way deeper than this injury I've sustained. Burke appeared in court yesterday (March 15) in Manhattan Federal Court, where he pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute and to possess with the intent to distribute, more than 100 kg of marijuana. Federal authorities connected Burke to a massive marijuana trafficking ring that involved over 50 people. “With Kareem Burke’s guilty plea today, another member of this sprawling marijuana trafficking ring stands convicted,” Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara told AllHipHop.com in a press release. “We will continue to pursue and punish those who traffic in illegal drugs.” Burke was arrested in October of 2010 , after federal authorities connected him to three separate, but interconnected marijuana trafficking cells.
