A new season of  ”ABC’s  country music drama “ Nashville ”  is in production in the Nashville area. There are a few scenes filming this week before the show goes on break for the holidays and people wanting to work as paid background actors still have a chance to get cast. The show has a few small roles up for grabs in scenes filming this Friday. The call is for adults 21 to 60 to play Beverly Bar patrons this coming Friday.  The show’s extras casting directors at OLC are seeking folks with hip and stylish looks that look like they belong at a night club watching a live music show. Baz Luhrman’s new Netflix series, “ The Get Down ”  is now filming in the New York City area. A new Netflix project about the beginnings of the hip hop music scene is now in production in New York City .  The show is looking to cast African American and Hispanic background actors to play people at a 1970s  flea market. GWC in New York City is looking for adults of all ages, 19 to 99 for the scene which will be a multi-day shoot, possibly beginning on Friday.
