A couple of newbies have been unofficially canceled (aka bumped from the schedule entirely or moved to—shudder—Saturday night). In an shocking move by a major film studio, scenes for the upcoming Oscar hopeful  All the Money in the World  are being entirely re-shot with  Christopher Plummer  instead of  Kevin Spacey ,E! News has learned. Ridley Scott 's  J. Paul Getty  drama about the now-infamous kidnapping of his grandson has been getting award season buzz prior to sexual harassment and sexual assault allegations swirling Spacey. The film is still currently slated to be released in theaters on December 22, giving the studio merely weeks to fully shoot Plummer in the main role. Music legends MC Lyte, Chuck D and Questlove of The Roots are among celebrities who’ve teamed with the Smithsonian on a forthcoming rap and hip-hop anthology that’s being touted as a “powerful cultural statement” about the community’s influence on American and global culture. A $250,000 crowdfunding campaign is underway on  Kickstarter  to raise money for the "Smithsonian Anthology of Hip-Hop and Rap," which will celebrate hip-hop, a distinctly African-American music and art form that began in the 1970s in the Bronx. The compilation will include nine CDs, more than 120 tracks and a 300-page book with extensive liner notes and essays by various artists, produced and released by Smithsonian Folkways Recordings. The project will also feature never-before-published photos culled from the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture's vast collection. Looks like Meek Mill ain't winning this time. The Philly rapper has reportedly been ordered to appear in court on Monday (Nov. 6) due to a number of probation violations pertaining to his previous drug and weapons case, TMZ reports. The problem is, Meek’s latest indiscretions could ensure him at least two years in the slammer. Meek’s probation stems from a 2008 drug and gun conviction, which he originally served eight months for. His freedom was most recently put in jeopardy when he was arrested for recklessly driving a dirt bike around New York City in Aug. 2017. Shortly before that, in Mar. 2017, he was taken into custody for fighting at a St. Louis airport.  Unfortunately for the  Dreams and Nightmares artist, this isn’t the first time he’s disobeyed the terms of his probation.
