Michael Jai White and Tyson Beckford are here to give the ladies what they want.

Deadline reports the actors are in negotiations to star in Chocolate City from indie filmmaker Jean-Claude LaMarre (Gang Of Roses). The flick is said to be inspired by the 2012 box office smash Magic Mike, but is banking on the African-American female audience to drive ticket sales.

Chocolate City centers on Devin, a college student who is struggling to stay financially afloat. He meets the owner of a male strip club (White) who convinces him to give amateur night a chance. Beckford is slated to play Adrian, the club's former star who finds his popularity fading as Devin becomes the fan favorite.

Devin will also fight to balance his religious upbringing with his new, not-so-holy career path.

"This movie was in gestation for 2 1/2 years, but after Magic Mike it seemed a natural fit for the African-American female audience," LaMarr told Deadline. "I researched the male exotic club scene and it's massive across the country, with clubs specifically targeting middle-aged African-American women."

LaMarre, who wrote and will direct the project, is hoping to bring the film to theaters in urban markets where women frequent Black male strip clubs.

Chocolate City will get its start this June in Los Angeles.
