Lauryn Hill Set To Release Her First Solo Single In 5 Years




Lauryn Hill hasn’t released a solo single in five years is now set to be on a new song that will be on the upcoming film, “Queen & Slim.”

The movie will be in theaters on November 14, and the soundtrack will be released on November 15. Other artists that will be featured on the soundtrack include Melina Matsoukas and Lena Waithe flick includes 6lack, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby and more. 

Melina Matsoukas the director of the film said, “I wanted the soundtrack for ‘Queen & Slim’ to showcase the historical evolution of black music, from its roots in blues and soul to modern bounce, hip-hop, and R&B, much like we used to see in film soundtracks in the 1990s. We partnered with Motown because of their legacy within black music.”
