This is a tribute to one of the most influential and masterful female hip hop artist in history. Her career has spand over 25 years and her ability to remain relevant is unmatched. She has put every moment of her life on wax and her deliver compels everyone to listen. She is an amalgamation of such celebrated artist before and during her life time like, The sassiness of Betty Wright, The raunchiness of Millie Jackson, The boldness of Grace Jones, The raw performance of Tina Turner, The sexiness of Chaka Khan, The flamboyance of Patty Labelle, The Strength of Pam Grier, and the truth of Moms Mabley all meets the newly revived energetic, vibrant, and younger music art form initially called, "rap" she remains relevent from that time to this; we would like to present to the B-13 Peer Review subscribers and audience: The amply self titled:

Linwood was very strict parent, who would often ofter find that his little girl was strong willed and they'd ofter clash. The struggle of wills had prove to be too much for Kim, so much so that by the age 15 she had run away from home. Kim found herself living with friends, then boyfriends that were drug dealers a remotely different live from the expectation of her very strict father Linwood. Kim had internal conflicts as well with the things she found herself doing to survive. Now growing up on the same blog Biggie and Kim they had always known each other.
Starting out Kim used to street battle rap and perform at block parties doing the hottest dances. Kim had begun to develop a reputation as a female MC. This truth had gotten around the neighborhood that to Christopher Wallace, (Notorious B.I.G/Biggie Smalls). He went to Kim and asked her to spit for him. Kim laughed not taking it seriously because she battled rapped for fun. One day Kim decided to rap for Biggie, Biggie was astounded he told Kim, I am taking you with me." Later Kim would become Junior Mafia's first lady.

Then in 1996 Lil' Kim released her debut album, Hard Core it debut at #11 in the Billboard top 200 and #3 on the R&B/Hip Hop album charts. The album was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), and has sold over five million copies worldwide.
The album was executive produced by Christopher "Biggie Smalls" Wallace. Kim collaborated with several producers for this project like, Jay-Z, Jermaine Dupri, Sean J Combs, David Willis, and Stevie J. The original title of the Platnuim album was Queen Bee. During the recording sessions, Kim and B.I.G made a demo for the track "Street Dreams", never released officially. “Big Momma Thang” was originally intended to be a diss towards Faith Evans and 2Pac but was re-recorded after Biggie disapproved of it. The verse containing remarks against Faith was replaced by Jay-Z's vocals while the third verse, which had a diss on 2Pac, was re-recorded by Kim.
