On this day in 1972, the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment came to an end after the unethically project was leaked to the media by US Public Health Service worker, Peter Buxton. The project began in 1934 at Tuskegee Institute. The study is now famous and infamous because it changed the course of history and created regulations in science and biomedical research that had not formally existed before.  

I just had to post this , this dude and I went to school together and he is an amazing talent. I would hope that everyone can hear what he is saying beyond the colorful speech. What he is trying to say is very real. Please take the time to listen to what is going on. Kanye is a very real dude but he struggles with, "keeping it real" for the sake of others. I believe he a regurgitation, a relic of the too black, too proud, colored man of yesterday. It is the powers that be that are trying to shape how we see him. They do not want us to understand him, nor do they want him to become the example of what a black man is. In his attempt to tame the real he sounds a bit off kilter. The next Drake and Kanye West collaboration will have to wait. According to Drake will no longer be co-headlining the Wireless Festival with Kanye West due to an illness. Drake was schedules to perform at the two day festival in London and Birmingham this weekend, with him headlining one of those dates. Drake explains his sudden cancellation is due to doctor’s orders: I got sick a few days ago and although I am on my way to bouncing back, my doctors have made it clear that I am not physically fit to fly or deliver the performance my fans expect and deserve from me. Kanye West, who was set to co-headline the event with Drake, will now headline both nights. Drake is also scheduled to host the upcoming 22nd annual ESPN ESPY’s awards Wednesday, July 16, at the Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles at 9 PM EST.

But widespread reports of Jeremy Meeks inking a lucrative modeling contract were premature, one of his agents told the Daily News Thursday.
