Azealia Banks has evidently had her fill of Twitter and the hip-hop scene. Yesterday -- following Billboard reports she'd split with manager Troy Carter, who also reps Lady Gaga -- the rising MC deleted her Twitter account. In a post on her Tumblr page, Banks outlined her frustrations with both the social media site and the music industry.

"No longer wishing to be a rapper," she wrote. "i never was.... and as soon as i started paying attention to bullshit urban media, i started getting myself in trouble. From now on i'm a vocalist, and will not be associating myself with the 'rap game'... or whatever the f*ck that means...no more twitter for me... it makes me entirely too accessible. Catch me on tumblr... it'll be more interesting."

"I'm still going to rap," she clarified in another post. "i just don't want the label and all the other crap that comes with the 'rap game' ... it's boring. rather be a dance artist.. lol."

As Prefixmag.com reports, the 20-year-old Harlem rhymer prefaced her Twitter farewell with a series of tweets seemingly aimed at her former manager.

"I know who you are yes...You short bald man...I know you planted these false stories," she tweeted, adding, "Guess what?: I'm still not going to let you manage me again. I've dealt with enough cyber bullying to see right thru this."

"I really want a female manager," she added. "Women are just so much smarter."
