Who Created Rock and Roll?

Rock and roll was not created by any individual artist. It was a combination of influences around in the 1950's primary from the Afro-American culture. Rock and Rolls' origin can be traced back to black rhythm and blues. It did not cross over to the white culture until Elvis Presley, in 1956.
