Brandon Howard, a 31-year-old singer, may be Michael Jackson’s secret son as a DNA test from a dental imprint claims to be a 99.9 percent match to the King of Pop.           

      

According to reports, Howard, the son of singer Miki Howard, whom Joe Jackson represented back in the 1980s underwent DNA test from a Beverly Hills dental surgeon, Joseph Goodman, who claimed to have obtained a sample of Jackson’s DNA from a dental device that belonged to the “Thriller” singer and was purchased by Goodman at an auction. However, Howard who reportedly consented to a DNA test, released a video on Facebook Thursday denying that he wanted to get the test done to prove any connection to Jackson.

“It seems a lot of people are speaking on my behalf, so I'm going to keep this short and simple," Howard said. "One, I did not call TMZ, I didn't put out a story, nothing. Two, I never self-proclaimed to be Michael Jackson’s son. Three, I am definitely not suing the estate.”

He went on saying: “I have been taken care of very well and also I make my own cash. Four, It's true I had a DNA test, but this had nothing to do with any of this, I swear on my life," adding: “I'm done, wherever you guys go from here, that's what it is and whatever the DNA results come out to be, the results, it is what it is. This is coming from me personally, so spread it around and make sure everybody knows this is me, OK, me, alright? So thank you for listening and talk to you soon.”

Howard Weitzman, the lawyer for Jackson's estate, told the New York Daily News: "It sounds like a fraud to me."

"I've never heard of the man," Weitzman said, referring to Howard, adding: "He's never made any claims with the estate or with any recognized tribunal that I'm aware of."

Singer Augie Johnson has claimed in a statement to the Daily Mail that he is Howard's father. Johnson said: "I KNOW Brandon's my son - I was there in the delivery room, I have the pictures of him being born. I got the records, I got everything."

"Before me, Miki wasn't with anyone else - she didn't even know Michael at that time. But you know what - I love my son and he can do whatever he likes. I'm not tripping on this - I want Brandon to have a successful career," he added.

Jawn Murray, a television personality, wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday: “I've actually known Brandon Howard for years. This story has been rumored for years! Some think he's Joe Jackson's child as he managed Miki.”
