The rapper calls the company racist and says "Power" lost 500,000 viewers.

50 Cent is upset that AT&T appears to not be renewing its distribution deal with Starz. The cable provider and subscription channel's pact is set to expire by the end of July, according to the Los Angeles Times.

50 Cent is an executive producer for the Starz show Power, which is now in its second season. The rapper took to Instagram to share his feelings on AT&T dropping the channel and his show.

"Man Im sorry I have to say this, but AT&T is racist they have had issues in the past and here we go again," he writes. "500,000 homes will not be able to view the next episode of POWER."

In April, AT&T fired its president for sending racially offensive content via his work phone.
"When this was happening they were saying they had the STARZ and other networks that created programming targeting multiple ethnicity's," 50 writes under a screenshot of a news story about the president's termination, "now I guess (THERE NOT FUCKING WITH NIGGAS)."

The rapper then encourages fans of Power who have AT&T to switch cable providers.
"Change your cable package from AT&T to anything else," he writes. "It's 2015 and these people are still racist. They are dropping all channels that are considered urban friendly. This sh!t is sad."

He posts a similar message under a picture of the logos for Comcast and Time Warner Cable, competitors of AT&T.
