Lil Wayne Ordered To Pay Pyrotechnics Company $96,000
Lil Wayne reportedly did not pay after reaching an earlier settlement with the company.
Lil Wayne has been ordered to pay Pyrotek Special Effects $96,000, according to TMZ
The judgment arrives after the Young Money boss
reportedly failed to pay the company once they agreed to a settlement
after Wayne did not pay them for a purchase he allegedly made in advance
of a 2013 tour.
For his tour, the rapper reportedly purchased 200 tracer comets, 92 silver gerbs, 36 propane tanks and 30 lbs of exploding powder, among other products, from the company.
Lil Wayne’s residence was raided Tuesday (November 3) after the New Orleans artist failed to pay for a private jet he leased from Miami’s Signature Group. His outstanding bill was reportedly $2 million. Police reportedly took signed football helmets, paintings, skateboards and one of the rapper's Cash Money Records plaques in the raid.
