‘The Originals’ Casting Featured Roles ‘Beautiful But Wicked’ Witches – Atlanta
CW’s ‘The Originals’ TV show is now filming the 2015 / 2016 season… season 3 and has a casting call out for Atlanta area background actors.
The new casting call is looking for local talent to play featured witches in scenes filming next week. The call is seeking attractive ladies, ages 20 to 30, of any ethnicity to play “wicked but beautiful” witches on the show. The roles do require some acting experience and talent interested in asked to not only send photos of themselves, but also a resume. There is also a second call out for talent to play Leonardo Da Vinci era scholars (1400s). The scene is described as multicultural and is seeking to cast both male and female talent, ages 30 to 60. The scenes will need a costume fitting and there are some size restrictions due to costume sizes. Please see below for the details.
“The Originals” is a spin-off of the popular “Vampire Diaries” show. Just like the
“The Vampire Diaries,” (which, by the way, is also currently filming in the Atlanta area), “The Originals” is also created by Julie Plec for The CW. The Vampire Diaries spin-off focuses on certain characters from the show, specifically, the Mikaelson family which is rumored to be one of the original vampire families. The show is now in it’s third season and just premiered last month. It is scheduled to run 22 episodes for the 2015 / 2016 season.
“The Originals” is set in New Orleans (though it actually films in the Atlanta / Conyers area), a city that the Mikaelson family helped build… back in the day. The show begins with the Mikaelson siblings returning to New Orleans after being away for far too long. They set out to take back the city from the man who took it over in their absence.
