Kevin Spacey Offers Actors Advice in Exclusive Clip

Two-time Oscar winner Kevin Spacey is a believer in the old saying, “You are who you surround yourself with.”

 

In this exclusive clip for online learning platform MasterClass the stage and screen star talks about the early days of his career and the patterns he’d see in other actors when they would sit at bars together and discuss the business. He recalls the type of “doubt” he found to be most destructive and the people he gravitated towards, who in looking back, helped put him on the path to achieving his goals.

 

Known for his award-winning turns in “American Beauty,” “The Usual Suspects,” and on the Netflix original series “House of Cards,” Spacey is now following Dustin Hoffman’s lead and offering a MasterClass for actors of his own. Included in the class are over four hours of video lessons, a 40-page class workbook, access to interactive assignments, and feedback from other students, as well as Spacey himself.

 

Set to launch early 2016, students are able to pre-order early access to the lessons at masterclass.com.
