Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Actress Continues to Rip Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith Over Oscars: "They Are Such Pretenders"

Jada Pinkett Smith's powerful video explaining her decision to boycott the Oscars due to the Academy's blatant lack of diversity within this year's nominees was well-received by many, butThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actress Janet Hubert was not a fan. Janet, who is best known for playing Aunt Vivian on the popular '90s sitcom, uploaded a scathing video testimonial of her own on late Monday evening taking the Gotham actress and husband Will Smith's buzzy performance in Concussion to task.

"First of all, Ms. Thing. Does your man not have a mouth of his own with which to speak?" she said. "And the second thing is, girlfriend, there's a lot of sh*t going on in the world that you all don't seem to recognize. People are dying. Our boys are being shot left and right. . . Maybe you didn't deserve a nomination. I didn't think, frankly, you deserved a Golden Globe nomination. You ain't Barack and Michelle Obama, and y'all need to get over yourselves."

This certainly isn't the first time the relationship between the former costars has gotten heated thanks to their long-standing feud, but it's definitely the harshest. She followed up her comments with an interview with The LA Times on Wednesday where she called herself "a real freedom fighter," saying that "the Smiths just irked me because they are such pretenders, and everything is a photo op.
