Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Announce Album “New Waves” Coming This Summer
Bizzy Bone and Krayzie Bone are Bone Thugs.
Iconic Cleveland group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony haven’t released an album since 2013, if you aren’t counting their Wu-Tang style album E. 1999 Eternal that was actioned off to a single bidder for over $1 million. Two of its members are about to change that this summer with a new album titled New Waves.
While many of the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony members are no longer making music (for various reasons), Bizzy Bone and Krayzie Bone have both been active lately. Now the two are reforming into a new iteration of the group, going simple by the name Bone Thugs. They just released their first single “Coming Home,” featuring Stephen Marley.
“This album is a breath of fresh air coming from Bone,” Krayzie Bone said in a statement to AllHipHop. “We wanted to give this project a different look. That’s where the album title comes from: New Waves.” The album doesn’t have a hard release date, but it’s expected to drop sometime this summer. The two realize their impact on the industry – on the new song, Bizzy Bone even says, “I should have patented my whole flow,” in reference to the double-time raps that have become so popular these days.
