Paul McCartney has brought in a third member of Adele‘s producing team for his first new solo album since 2013’s New.

Greg Kurstin, who oversaw the smash hit “Hello,” is collaborating on this as-yet-untitled studio project. New was co-produced by Mark Ronson and Paul Epworth, both of whom have also previously worked with Adele.

“I’m making a new album, which is great fun. I’m in the middle of that,” McCartney told BBC 6 Music (via NME). “I’m working with a producer I first worked with two years ago on a piece of music I’m doing for an animated film. He went on to work with Beck, and got Best Album of the Year with Beck. Then he went on to work with Adele and has just got Song of the Year, Record of the Year, with Adele of course, and just got Producer of the Year. My only worry is, people are going to go, ‘Oh there’s Paul going with the flavor of the month.'”

McCartney, who’s been talking about a new album since at least last summer, just released an expanded reissue of 1989’s Flowers in the Dirt – the former Beatles star’s most recent U.K. platinum record.

He’s been frank in assessing the chances of ever reaching those kind of sales heights again in the streaming age. “I’ll put out my next album, but I won’t think I’m gonna sell a lot,” McCartney said last year. “I’m putting it out because I have songs that I like.”
