Guns N’ Roses leader Axl Rose has scheduled his first sit-down, live television broadcast interview in more than 20 years.

Rose will appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, October 24.

The appearance is to promote GNR’s “Appetite For Democracy” residency at The Joint inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, where the band will play 12 shows between October 31 and November 24.

“Appetite For Democracy” will span the band’s biggest hits from their debut album “Appetite For Destruction” (1987) through their platinum-selling record “Chinese Democracy” (2008). Exact details about the show are being kept under wraps but fans can expect the raw and gritty heavy metal Guns N’ Roses is known for along with a few surprise elements.

A week before the Kimmel appearance, Rose and company will play the 26th Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert, the annual acoustic-based fundraising event organized by Neil Young.

The 2012 event takes place on October 20 at 5pm and October 21 at 2pm at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
