Over sixty gang members were arrested, some of whom quoted Rick Ross and Meek Mill lyrics on their social media pages, which helped lead to their indictment.

It seems like Rick Ross lyrics aren't only getting the MMG boss in trouble these days, but even the gang members who quote Rozay are facing problems.

The NYPD have busted 63 gang members in New York, after being led to them through their social media postings, which included quotes of Rick Ross, as well as Meek Mill. 

The indictment was released today and reports that members of various gangs, Air It Out, True Money, Whoaday, and the True Money Bosses were led to their downfall by postings on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube which boasted of their criminal activity. One accused member quoted Rozay, "God forgives I don't….somebody gotta' die," on Facebook. Another Air It Out member and Meek Mill fan, put a twist on some of the Philly rapper's lyrics, quoting, "I'm 2 Glocks strapped, rolling down 112th Madison, 116th is the New Iraq," 

The 63 gang members, most of whom were under the age of 21, with the eldest being 25, were accused of numerous assaults, three murders, more than 30 shooting, plus gun possession, and trafficking, as HipHopWired reports.

New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly spoke on social media helping their case, "Social media remains a double-edged sword in our crime fighting strategies," said the commissioner. "It is used by crew members to brag about past crimes, taunt rivals, and incite violence. On the other hand, we use social media to document past crimes and intercept new ones being talked about openly by crew members on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube."
