“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2″ Movie Has a Casting Call out for Kids in NYC
TMNT 2 called “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell” is in production in NYC.
New York City casting directors at GWC are looking to cast a few kids ages 7 to 12 to be extras on the set of the new Ninja Turtles film. Submissions for the roles are being accepted from parents whose children are available to work as extras in the NYC area this Thursday.
David Green will be directing the Paramount Pictures, live action sequel. According to Variety.com, Platinum Dunes and Michael Bay will again produce the Turtles film. Screenwriters Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec will be returning for the sequel as well. “Arrow” star Stephen Amell has landed the role of Casey Jones, Megan Fox will be playing April and Tohoru Masamune will be playing Shredder in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Half Shell”.
During last weeks Comic Con, Amell commented about what we can expect from Casey Jones in “Ninja Turtles 2” – IGN published portions of Amell’s interview in which he stated “He is not the Casey Jones that a lot of comic fans have come to know and love. He is a guy with a job that lives in New York and loves hockey. When things go awry, [and] when he goes through the normal methods of what someone would do when they’re [a] law-abiding citizen and he’s met with laughter and scorn… he decides to take things into his own hands.”
