The stipend is $60 per performance. Most actors are able to learn the role after 1 – 2 coaching sessions and 1 – 2 rehearsals. Once the performances begin there are no additional rehearsal commitments.

“THE BIRMINGHAM CHILDREN’S MARCH”
In 1963, Martin Luther King’s civil rights campaign in Birmingham, Alabama was stalled after weeks of peaceful demonstrations and Dr. King’s goal of ending segregation was in jeopardy. A change in strategy was needed and that change came in the form of school children whose peaceful marches and active moral witness transformed, arguably redeemed, America. This interactive theater experience is a dramatization of those events. This 40 minute performance features freedom songs, speeches, testimonies, and character-driven drama, all happening around the audience.
