Open Auditions in Memphis, Casting Call for Principal Roles in CMT’s “Million Dollar Quartet” TV Miniseries

Open auditions for major roles in Memphis, Tenn.

The CMT network is casting for the upcoming CMT mini series “Million Dollar Quartet” and looking to cast actors to play music legends such as Elvis, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and more.

“Million Dollar Quartet”  is a Tony Award-winning musical based on the recording sessions that featured Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis. CMT will be making  an 8 part mini-series that will air on CMT later in 2016.

According to a press release, The series will focus on the musicians’ rapid rise to fame during a time of political change and social unrest.

The shows casting directors are looking for actors to play the iconic characters in the show and will be holding an open casting call in Memphis on Feb. 13 at the Humes Preparatory Academy Middle School. Acting experience is not required (but probably helpful) and actors interested in the roles are asked to come to the call dressed in their best 1950s look.

Both principal and extras casting directors will be at the event and casting talent for roles big and small. Extras casting directors from OLC will be on hand and casting talent to work as paid extras on the project.

Line can form no earlier than 7:00AM. Open call is between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

 Actors should bring a valid ID, PICTURE or professional headshot, RESUME, and completed TALENT REGISTRATION FORM.

Please note that the pictures you provide us with will NOT be returned.

 If selected, the callback will be Sunday, February 14th, 2016. The location of the callback is TBD.

OLC will be handling the Extras Casting for this exciting new project in Memphis starting at the end of March. Background work and the possibility of maybe being cast in a Principal role. We will be at this Open Call taking photos of anyone wanting to work as an Extra on this project.
