HBO TV Series “Ballers” Casting Call for Extras

There is a casting call out in Miami for Dwayne Johnson’s HBO comedy “Ballers”

The show is in production in the Miami area and is casting actors for small roles as well as extras. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is starring and producing the new show with “Pain and Gain” co-star Mark Wahlberg.  

The casting call states that the series is looking to fill a few small roles in the new series and are seeking talent that would like to work as TV extras in the Miami, Florida area.  ”Ballers” has been filming around the Miami area for some weeks now and production is getting close to wrapping. For those who would love to get a chance to work as an extra on this series, there are still some scenes left to film and there is a current casting call out for background talent.  Marinella Hume Casting is looking for submissions from local talent (Miami area only!) available to work the dates listed below.

WWE superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars in the HBO comedy. According to Deadline the 1/2 hour comedy will follow the lives of professional football players. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars as retired player Spencer Strasmore. Omar Benson Miller will be playing another athlete who is also retired from sports and looking for his next big break. Joining Johnson and Miller will be Denzel Washington’s son who plays an athlete and Rob Corddy who plays a financial adviser.

BIKINI POOL GIRLS: Female, 18-35, ATTRACTIVE & FIT. Must be comfortable and look good in a bikini. Playboy/glamour/fitness models!! This will work Wednesday, February 3rd. Put “POOL GIRLS” in subject line.

HOT GUYS: Male, 18-35, ATTRACTIVE & FIT. Comfortable in swimwear. Guys with abs, six-packs, ripped, etc. This will work Wednesday, February 3rd. Put “HOT GUY” in subject line.

NFL TEAM EXECS: Looking for professional-looking men, ages 30-70, to play NFL team-management types, owners, GMs, team personnel, coaches, etc. Must be available both Wednesday, February 10th and Thursday February 11th. Put “TEAM EXEC” in subject line.

TV REPORTERS: Attractive Men & Women, ages 25-35, to portray a stand-up television reporter. Must be available both Wednesday, February 10th and Thursday February 11th. Put “TV NEWS” in subject line.

We shoot Monday thru Friday, expect 12+ hour shoots . Not all days will be this long, but you should always be prepared to be there for the entire duration of the shoot day. Please keep that in mind when accepting a booking. You cannot leave to pick up kids, walk dog, doctor’s appointments, etc.
