New Show “Containment” Casting Call for Extras
CW’s newest series “Containment” is now filming in the Atlanta area.
Production in the area just began and casting directors for the series are seeking paid background actors to fill a few roles for background extras. The show will be filming a scene later this week and is in need of both male and female extras ages 25+.
“Containment” focuses on what may happen if a virus was to suddenly break out in a heavily populated area. The show is set in the Atlanta area, where it films, and is based on another show called “Cordon” that airs on one of the BBC Networks. In the show, authorities are forced to quarantine large areas of a city in an effort to prevent the spread of a mysterious, and uncontrollable disease. The quarantine cuts off families from their loved ones and gives rise to actions both tragic and heroic from those trapped within the quarantine area.
“Containment” is part of CW’s 2015 / 2016 fall line up and should premiere in a few months.
“Containment” is written by Julie Plec (“Vampire Diaries”, “The Originals”) and directed by David Nutter. According to the show’s Wiki page, Starring in “Containment” are David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood, Kristen Gutoskie, Claudia Black, George Young, Hanna Mangan Lawrence and Trevor St. John.
CONTAINMENT (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY) is looking for extras (new faces or those who haven’t worked on the show yet) to work Thursday, August 20. in Atlanta, GA. Please be prepared to work a min of 12hrs. See below for breakdown….

MEDIA TYPES — Males or Females, any ethnicity, ages 25+, note if you have real life experience in submission

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be mindful of the photos you submit. These photos are sometimes sent to the Directors and Producers to make choices. A lot of times we can’t submit people because their photo isn’t appropriate for the role submitted for, we can’t clearly see the person in the picture, picture is of poor quality, etc. A current candid photo taken on a camera phone in good lighting is sufficient majority of the time.
