Kandi Burruss Tucker  (born  Kandi Leniece Burrus s ; May 17, 1976 in  College Park, Georgia )  is an American  singer-songwriter ,  actress , record producer, and  television personality . She is a former member of the  group   Xscape . Burruss currently stars as one of six members in the  Bravo   reality television  series  The Real Housewives of Atlanta  since its second season premiere on July 30, 2009. Kandi Burruss was born in  College Park ,   Georgia  to her father  Reverend  Titus Burruss Jr.,  and mother Joyce Jones.  Kandi had an older brother, Patrick, who died when she was younger.  She first appeared on the  BET  series,  Teen Summit , at age 15. Lil B Delivers Speech At Massachusetts Institute Of Technology

Lil B speaks in front of some of the nation's brightest at MIT.   Lil B has been known to preach to a wide audience whether it be through music or literally during a speaking event. Recently flexing his public speaking muscles once again, this time at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The Berkeley, California native strutted out some of his wisdom that he often relays in his music. "I'm very happy that I can come here and tell you I'm someone that has not been driven by the profit," Lil B said possibly in reference to never signing a major deal and his infamous social media following. J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League Defends Bill Cosby

J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League rattles off a series of tweets about the headlines surrounding Bill Cosby, coming to his defense.   The rape allegations surrounding actor/comedian Bill Cosby have become more and more incriminating as time has progressed. The Hip Hop community has been widely quiet on the recent news, aside from Snoop Dogg , but one group decided to make their feelings heard. Taking to Twitter yesterday, production trio J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League aired out their beliefs on the allegations coming to Cosby's defense. "Might I remind you, there's never been a conviction of Bill Cosby," the account tweeted. "Only a Twitter conviction. You fuckin nancy grace's." The Miami group also tweeted a message that received perhaps the most amount of traction, saying that the Twitter users who are accusing Cosby of rape need to be "raped by Cosby" themselves. Cool C Slated To Be Executed In January

  Storied Philadelphia rapper Cool C faces execution in January. In 1996 Cool C was convicted of first degree murder for the same year shooting death of Lauretha Vaird, a Philadelphia police officer who attempted to end a botched robbery attempt by C and an accomplice. At a subsequent hearing, Cool C was sentenced to death. After serving the last 18 years in prison Cool C now has a death date as it was recently announced the Philly native will be put to death via lethal injection on January 8, 2015. He originally was sentenced to die on March 9, 2006, however Pennsylvania's governor granted a delay of the execution. Cool C is perhaps best known as a member of C.E.B., a 1980s Philadelphia Hip Hop group who was considered a Liberty City version of Juice Crew . In 1989 C released his debut and highest acclaimed album I Gotta Habit , which contained the single "The Glamorous Life," a Billboard-charting track and Juice Crew diss.

  Wendy Day explains how Freddie Foxxx forced Birdman to apologize to her for not being paid for her services to Cash Money.   In the first of a two-part interview with Nah Right , industry insider Wendy Day explained to writer Jimmy Ness how she helped broker deals like the signing of No Limit Records to Priority and a $30 million distribution deal with Universal for Cash Money .   Running down a number of behind-the-scenes stories, Day, who founded the non-profit organization Rap Coalition in 1992, detailed how Cash Money long operated as a shady business by not paying employees, rent, and associated business operations expenses.   Eminem regains the #1 spot with "MMPL2," Yo Gotti enters the Top 10 with "I Am" and Hopsin debuts in the Top 200 with "Knock Madness."   This week on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart, Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP 2 lands back at #1, reclaiming the top spot from Lady Gaga, who earned the slot last week with her  ARTPOP  release. Although it is now in its third week and still at #1, Eminem isn't the only Rap artist charting. This week, Yo Gotti's I Am album breaks into the Top 10, Drake falls out of the Top 10 for the first time this year and Hopsin knocks himself into the Top 200 with Knock Madness .
