Freeman is not related to Hines by blood, but he adopted Hines' mother, whose mother is his first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw. By Steven Anthony Van Halen has just released the video for She’s The Woman , now officially the second single off of this year’s A Different Kind Of Truth . She’s The Woman is one of many tracks on the new record that the band retooled from demos recorded back in 1976. While some criticized the band for using these old demos on the record, ultimately it offered a way to guarantee a return to that classic Van Halen sound. The video features a combination of rehearsal and live footage of the band. From Diamond Dave’s microphone stand twirling act to EVH’s classic-VH-styled guitar solo, it’s clear the band still has what it takes to put on a good show. Check it out below. Chris Daughtry is being sued by his pre-American Idol bandmates that claim they are owed royalties for four hit Daughtry songs including the hit song "Home". Prior to becoming a finalist on American Idol and launching his multi-platinum band Daughtry, Chris Daughtry was in a band called Absent Element with bass player Ryan Andrews, drummer Scott Crawford, and guitarist Mark Perry. The three have now filed suit in North Carolina seeking royalties for songs they say they had a hand in writing with Chris Daughtry. Apart from "Home," Daughtry's formerband mates are seeking royalties for the songs "Breakdown," "Conviction," and "Sinking."  The Charlotte Observer reports that the lawsuit states "All four members wrote music and lyrics for Absent Element's songs, collaborated on the arrangement and recording of those songs, regularly consu

Tyler Perry In Legal Trouble With Writers   LOS ANGELES (AP) The Writers Guild of America, West, has filed unfair labor practice charges with the National Labor Relations Board against Tyler Perry’s sitcom, “House of Payne.” The WGA accuses the show of unlawfully firing four writers in retaliation for their union activity. The charge also alleges that Perry’s company has bargained in bad faith with the Guild. A lawyer for Tyler Perry tells the Hollywood Reporter that the four writers were fired because of poor work performance. The WGA says, together, the four had worked on more than 100 episodes of “House of Payne.” They and others are expected to picket the grand opening of Tyler Perry Studios tomorrow (Saturday) in Atlanta.

She is the perfect choice for any remake.”

Madonna released her video for "Girl Gone Wild" last night -- and Gaga fans are already slamming the Queen of Pop on Twitter for copying Gaga's style. Referencing the men dancing in heels throughout the GGW video, one Gaga fan tweeted "OH @Madonna was copying Lady Gaga - Alejandro music video on her new Girl Gone Wild . who's reductive now?" Madonna fans are striking back though, trying to show that everything Gaga did, Madge did back in the 90's --  meaning that, if anything, the only one Madonna is copying is herself. Katy Perry is trading her candy girl costume for marine fatigues! The music video for her latest hit "Part of Me" just dropped, and you can see it here on toofab. In the video, Katy breaks up with her boyfriend (mirroring her real-life split from husband Russell Brand ) and decides to enlist in the marines. The pop star filmed the video at Camp Pendleton in California and got very physical. One of the biggest boy bands of the late '90s is making a combeback! No, not *NSYNC ... sorry. Nick Lachey , Drew Lachey , Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre -- A.K.A. 98 Degrees -- are reuniting 10 years after their last single together, according to RumorFix.com . The group will reportedly go on a 15-city tour this summer between July to August ... with an official announcement expected in the next week. Speculation of a reunion began with a tweet from Nick yesterday saying  "is it me, or does 98degrees.com look a little different that it did yesterday? just saying." The website showed off a brand new logo and design.
