Auditions for Nickelodeon Show Got kids who love to cook and are pretty good at it? Miami area casting directors  with Miami Talent will be holding  video auditions for kids  to appear on a new Nickelodeon kids cooking show . The show is accepting self tapes from kids ages 8 to 14. The Kid’s  Cooking Show  will air on the  Nickelodeon Channel  and kids need to have great cooking skills and look like kids and preteens. Parents are asked to send in a video audition which will consist of a short video clip of their child cooking in the kitchen. The show is also interested in Bilingual kids (English / Spanish). A new season of  ”ABC’s  country music drama “ Nashville ”  is in production in the Nashville area. The country music drama is now filming new episodes for the new season and has an upcoming concert scene coming up that will be needing many paid extras. The ABC series is now in it’s 4th season. The country music oriented drama is created by Callie Khouri and stars Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere as two country music superstars, Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes. OPEN CASTING CALL for speaking roles in FEATURE FILM titled  ” In The Middle of the River “  “ In The Middle of the River ” will be filming in the Farmington (North West of  Albuquerque ) area this winter and there will be an open casting call audition to fill 20 speaking roles in the movie including lead and supporting roles. Mid Thunder Casting of New Mexico will be hosting auditions on Saturday, the 23rd of January and auditions will be by appointment only on Sunday. They are seeking a variety of actors and age groups including a few kids and teens to work on the movie. The roles do require an in person audition, so please only apply if you are local to the area or within a reasonable driving distance and able to make the auditions next weekend. “Straight Outta Compton” producer  Ice Cube  offered his two cents on the Oscars boycott and his N.W.A biopic’s exclusion from the Academy’s best picture category on a Friday episode of “The Graham Norton Show.” When Norton asked Cube if he’d still attend the Feb. 28 ceremony, he responded, “I never used to go anyway. You can’t boycott something you never went to.” On the topic of the Academy failing to recognize “Straight Outta Compton” — which received an Oscar nod for best original screenplay — in the best picture category, Cube said that being upset about the situation was like “crying about not having enough icing on your cake.” “We don’t do movies for the industry. Alexis, transgender actress and gender-rights activist, took to Facebook to BLAST the Hollywood power couple and labeled them ‘gay hypocrites’.
