The new film “ Money Monster ” is looking to cast some NYC pedestrians.     The movie will be filming some outdoor winter scenes and is seeking locals available to play pedestrians later this week. Jodie Foster is directing the drama which is filming in New York City. According to the film’s IMDB page, the film focuses on a man who loses his life savings in a bad stock deal then publicly takes a on-air show host hostage in an attempt to raise the stock prices…. George Clooney plays Lee Gates. Gates is a TV personality whose insider tips have made him the money guru of Wall Street. When Kyle loses all of his family’s money on a bad tip, he holds Lee and his entire show hostage on air threatening to kill Lee if he does not get the stock up 24 and a half points before the bell. Ratings soar as the entire country tunes in to this media frenzy to find out just how much a man’s life is worth. A TV commercial filming in the New York City area is casting some very talkative kids between the ages of 3 and 6.     The smart car commercial will be holding in person auditions between the 14th and 20th of this month in New York. This is a non-union spot and will film between the 22nd and 23rd of April. The kids cast for the commercial will make $500 for the shoot + another $1750 for usage / buyout. The commercial will most likely run in Germany. Telsey + Company casting is looking for English speaking youngsters as well as kids who speak German. All kids must be very talkative and outgoing. The commercial will feature a montage of children saying unexpected things, such as inappropriate phrases they may have heard / overheard their parents say. Parents should note that this will run overseas and parents should be OK with their kids using some foul language. The dialog should feel real, unscripted and uninhibited. “Captain America 3: Civil War” Updated Extras Casting Information An updated casting call has just been released for more roles / types the film’s casting directors are seeking. “ Captain America 3 ” is seeking extras of all ages 18+. They are seeking extras of various types including upscale looks 18 to 85, African American extras, college student looks,  Russian  extras, southeast Asian extras up to age 90 and more. “ Captain America 3 ” began filming in Atlanta this April. The film is also scheduled to shoot in Puerto Rico and Berlin. The highly anticipated Marvel Studios film will follow the Civil War story line which will find the heroes on opposite sides of each other. The show’s casting directors are seeking 2 boys, ages 3 1/2 and 5 as well as a 3 1/2 year old girl. The show is looking for twins (ideally) but will consider siblings as well. The show is filming in Wicklow and talent applying MUST live in the area. They will not be considering kids who do not live near Wicklow, so please only submit pictures of your kids if you are in close proximity to the filming area as no travel expenses will be paid and call times may be on short notice. The Allegiant movie is filming in the Atlanta area and the CD’s for the project have tons of open roles available for folks 18 to 50 who would like to be extras.
