Open Auditions (Film & theatre) for “Mordred” Location: Devon, England Type: Other Projects Mordred is a feature film and theatre production, being directed by Laura Jay, one of our founders. A gritty, dark tale, Mordred is an Arthurian-era drama, heavily influenced by the earliest legends of Mordred, who is traditionally seen as King Arthur’s arch-nemesis, and illegitimate son. In the earlier legends, Mordred is much more of an ambiguous character, and not pure evil, as in modern re-tellings, this film and theatre show tells of the legends, from Mordred’s point of view. This drama is set in the 530s, against the backdrop of the Saxon invasions, heavily influenced by Celtic legends and Druidic traditions, and the earliest tales of Arthur, and his followers. The film will be made across South West England, with as much use as possible of actual Arthurian locations, and ancient sites, in Devon and Cornwall. The theatre shows will be performed in South Devon (as a certainty)

“Guardians of the Galaxy 2″ has a rush call out for this weekend. The “ Guardians of The Galaxy ” sequel is looking for some Atlanta locals who are able to work this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. A new science fiction film is in production in Atlanta and looking for talent of all ethnicities in the area. Hunger Games    star Jennifer Lawrence will star alongside   Guardians of the Galaxy (which, by the way, is filming the sequel)  actor Chris Pratt for the film, “ Passengers .”  The sci-fi feature is being described as a romance in space with Lawrence and Pratt playing 2 passengers on a spaceship that is carrying colonists to a distant planet.  The movie has a minimal cast because through most of it, everyone, well… almost everyone is asleep for the journey.  The planet the passengers are going to colonize is a lifetime away and everyone is being kept in stasis.
