Gloria Gaynor requested no shirtless men be in her line of sight during her performance at a gay bar Thursday night ... but not because she's homophobic -- her people say the singer is just deeply religious. The " I Will Survive " singer took a trip to the Abbey in West Hollywood -- a gay mecca -- and performed her new song ... but the gig was delayed when Gaynor insisted managers remove all go-go dancers from the room. The place is known for it's scantily clad men in speedos ... but Gloria's people say the 64-year-old diva was just protecting her image -- and it had nothing to do with the strong possibility the men were gay. In fact, the rep says Gloria is an equal opportunity offender ... and makes an effort to never take pics with shirtless men OR provocatively dressed women. Days after rap veteran  Queen Latifah  downed rumors about an  OutKast  reunion album coming together, new reports claim both  Andre 3000  and  Big Boi  have solo efforts in the works. According to longtime OutKast producer  Mr. DJ ,  individual material has started to pile up . The best way to figure that out would be to monitor the activity going on in Stankonia Studios, the band's longtime workspace in Atlanta. Both Dre and Big Boi have been recording there as of late, sparking speculation around a new Outkast album. In reality, they've been laying tracks down for respective solo projects, according to Mr. DJ, the group's longtime producer. He's not certain, but--brace yourself--he believes 3000 will drop his long-awaited solo album this year. According to Detroit producer  Mark Bass , who co-owns the legendary F.B.T. studio,  Em has already laid down  new tunes with the Dirty Dozen. F.B.T. has hosted work by artists such as Eminem, D12,  T.I.  and the  Dramatics , and now serves mostly as a personal musical playground for Mark Bass and his assorted projects, including an upcoming album of Motown cover songs by  George Clinton . Bass, who has started a label called Motunes Media, says he's also been mixing new material by the mercurial funk-pop giant Sly Stone  with members of the original  Family Stone  band, along with new D12 tracks, including three with Eminem. Canadian artist  Samantha Ravndahl  vowed to sue Lil Kim after the rapper allegedly lifted her zombie image off Reddit and used it to hawk her new album.   Rap mogul  Jay Z  continues to make headlines fresh into 2014 by reportedly teaming up with Hollywood actor  Will Smith  for an upcoming electronic music comedy. If all goes accordingly,  Jigga and Big Willy will link  with Scottish producer  DJ Calvin Harris  for an HBO series. Jay and Smith are co-producers of "Higher," a half-hour series currently in development at HBO. While it's without a plot, cast members, a director, or even an air date,  Trainspotting  author Irvine Welsh  is currently penning the script alongside Harris. Weeks after the fatal shooting of rapper  Wiz Khalifa 's 20-year-old uncle, police have reportedly made two more arrests. According to reports, two suspects in their 20's  were thrown behind bars yesterday  (January 22). Authorities have arrested two more suspects in the drug-related shooting death of rapper Wiz Khalifa's uncle in the parking lot of a Pittsburgh-area fast food restaurant.  Paul "Los" Sanders Jr. , of Wilkinsburg, and  Michael Wolford , of Braddock, both 20, both face a preliminary hearing Feb. 6. They were arrested Wednesday night and immediately jailed without bond on criminal homicide and other charges in the Jan. 8 shooting of 20-year-old Imani Porter . The two suspects were tracked to an apartment in Wilmerding, another suburb, by the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force. Once there, investigators found an unspecified amount of crack cocaine and digital scales, which were also seized and resulted in additional drug pos

Former Death Row Records owner  Marion "Suge" Knight  cut law enforcement a break this week after reportedly turning himself in following a publicized arrest warrant being issued. According to reports, Suge  popped up into a courthouse  Thursday (January 23) and received a light punishment. Suge Knight decided to stroll into a courthouse Thursday ... to make things right after a pissed off judge issued an arrest warrant because he blew off court earlier in the week. Suge appeared to cop a plea for driving with a suspended license. He got 24 months probation and a small fine. But get this ... Suge was arrested in the license case because they realized he had an outstanding warrant -- for not showing up in court on another case. Old dog ... new tricks. Rap mogul  Jay Z  has reportedly been named as a defendant in an explosive $600 million lawsuit filed against him, the NBA and more over professional basketball team the Brooklyn Nets' brand. According to reports, legal action against Hov and others  was taken last month . The Plaintiff, Dr.  Francois de Cassagnol , filed a pro se complaint with the Eastern District of the State of New York on December 9, 2013, asking for a juried trial over the matter -- and $600 million in damages, at least. According to court documents obtained by Radar, de Cassagnol claims that the NBA, Jay Z, and developer  Bruce Ratner  "fraudulently conspired" to use "loopholes" in the U.S. Patent Office so that they could use a term he says he registered more than ten years ago.
