Detroit woman is suing  Empire  and claiming that she is the actual, real-life Cookie Lyon.  Sophia Eggleston has filed a $300 million lawsuit against the hit show and says that much of her life mirrors the character Cookie. She wrote her “early drug lifestyle” in a memoir titled The Hidden Hand , which she claims  Empire  borrowed liberally from to make the iconic character. According to the copyright suit, filed in the US District Court in Michigan, Eggleston met with screenwriter Rita Miller in 2011 and gave her a copy of the memoir, which Miller said she would pitch to Lee Daniels during a phone conversation several months later. Instead, in 2015,  Empire  came out, and Eggleston said the similarities were uncanny. Eggleston said that Cookie “was similar in behavior, style of dress, and background.” She went on further to say that she was “dismayed to see the various similarities of events and characters . . . so numerous and specific, especially . . . There is a “ Magnificent Seven ”  remake on the way and the movie is hiring paid extras in Louisiana. The new movie is a remake of the 1960 classic western which starred Yul Brynner, Eli Wallach, Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Robert Vaughn, Brad Dexter and James Coburn. “ The Magnificent Seven ”  is about to wrap and has been filming around the Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Jackson Louisiana areas this summer. The romantic comedy “ Mothers Day ” is beginning production in the Atlanta area and has put a call out for numerous extra roles. The movie’s extras casting directors at NLC are now accepting submissions for paid background extras ages 18 to 40 for scenes that will be filming in the 2nd part of this month. Young Thug continues to flood social media with puzzling posts which insinuate that he is gay. That Atlanta rapper posted a shocking video on Instagram , which showed him kissing Birdman on the cheek and calling him his “lover.” “Me and my lover dripping!!!! Like always!!!,” Thug wrote on his post. Young Thug often posts photographs and videos with guys, in which he refers to them as baby, lover, and other pet names. While some believe he does it merely for shock value, others believe the rapper is in fact a homosexual. The Originals   season 3 is filming around the Atlanta area (Conyers, GA) and is casting for a featured extra role of a murder victim.
