Indiana Performing Arts Initiative Summer Stock Theatre Location: Indianapolis, Indiana Type: Theater Upcoming Auditions for new Summer Stock Theatre Program! Claude McNeal Productions, a local non-profit theatre organization, in collaboration with the IUPUI Music Academy and IUPUI’s Hoosier Bard Productions will be having auditions for a new summer stock theatre program at Herron High School, called the INDIANA PERFORMING ARTS INITIATIVE. Open to all area high school & college students, as well as amateur and professional actors, as we are seeking actors/singers and dancers to audition for both JEKYLL & HYDE: THE BROADWAY MUSICAL and the straight play SIX CHARACTERS IN SEARCH OF AN AUTHOR. A TV commercial filming in the Atlanta area has a casting call out for athletic talent. CL Casting in Georgia is seeking Athletic men and women for a gym scene, Football player types and folks with some great dance moves to play people at a night club. History Channel’s “ Vikings ” is back in production and seeking more extras for upcoming 2016 episodes. The show is filming around the Wicklow and Dublin areas of Ireland and is looking for locals who would like to work as paid TV extras on the show. “ Vikings ”  is now filming season 4. There is a new  casting notice out in the Dublin area  for athletic women to portray shield maidens. The show is also accepting general submissions from local talent.  Casting directors for  Vikings     are not accepting electronic submissions, rather, they would like talent to send in their photos and information via snail mail. Online video auditions for kids and teens to star in new TV series. Norman Lear’s “ One Day at a Time ” is coming to Netflix. The hit 70s sitcom “ One Day At A Time ” is getting a reboot on Netflix. Sony Pictures and  Netflix   are bringing back the comedy and holding a talent search for 2 young actors to take on major roles in the show. The original “ One Day at A Time ” ran for 9 years between ’75 and ’84. Netflix has picked up the show for season one and has ordered up 13 episodes.  The  Netflix   series will be quite different than the original. The 2Pac biopic “ All Eyez on Me ” is in production in the Atlanta area and has a new casting notice out for paid extras. The film’s extras casting directors at MHC are seeking Atlanta locals to work as paid background actors in an upcoming scene in the movie. Those wanting to work as extras must have full availability for the dates listed below. Extras casting directors are only looking for adult background actors on this one. The film began production some months back and recently  held an open casting call  in hopes of finding locals looking for a chance to work on the movie. According to a recent SlashFilms report,  All Eyez on Me  is being directed by Benny Boom, and Hollywood newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr. has landed the lead role of Tupac Shakur.
