When I pulled up to  Mama June Shannon ’s house in Hampton, Georgia the first thing I noticed was the blinds … or what was left of them. By the looks of tattered white plastic barely hanging in the window, I assumed a cat had  gone to town  and ripped them to shreds. But alas, no felines inside. As far as legacies in rap collectives go, it’s hard not to put the Wu-Tang Clan at #1 in any statistical category. The Shaolin MCs have more moving parts than an octopus, thus enabling them to rack on more wins on sheer volume alone. But as even some of the Wu-Tang members or other Hip Hop legends have discovered, duplicating magic isn’t as easy as announcing it. So the likelihood of an up-and-coming artist winning off a remake doesn’t bode that well for excitement all the same. Don’t tell that to The Faze, the Cali native whose name has been buzzing in his Inland Empire region for some time now. Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl leads an impressive lineup for the fourth annual Acoustic-4-A Cure benefit concert, which is curated by Sammy Hagar and Metallica frontman James Hetfield. Hetfield broke the sad news in the announcement that he will not be able to take part in this year's event, which is scheduled to take place on May 15th at the Fillmore Theater in San Francisco. However, Sammy Hagar will be joined by Grohl, as well as former Eagles guitarist Don Felder, Mick Fleetwood, Grateful Dead icon Bob Weir, Steve Vai, Vic Johnson, Sarah McLachlan and Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo. According to Metallica, "The benefit concert raises funds and awareness for the pediatric cancer research with all proceeds donated to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital."

Bizzy Bone and Krayzie Bone are Bone Thugs. Iconic Cleveland group  Bone Thugs -N-Harmony haven’t released an album since 2013, if you aren’t counting their Wu-Tang style album  E. 1999 Eternal  that was actioned off to a single bidder for over $1 million. Two of its members are about to change that this summer with a new album titled  New Waves . While many of the Bone Thugs-N-Harmony members are no longer making music (for various reasons), Bizzy Bone and Krayzie Bone have both been active lately. Now the two are reforming into a new iteration of the group, going simple by the name Bone Thugs. They just released their first single  “Coming Home,”  featuring  Stephen Marley . “This album is a breath of fresh air coming from Bone,”  Krayzie Bone  said in a statement to  AllHipHop . “We wanted to give this project a different look. A mysterious document credits Kanye West, Andre Benjamin, Rick Rubin, and D'Angelo as contributors to Kendrick's next album. The full credits to Kendrick Lamar's next album appear to have been posted online. The PDF was  posted anonymously on Pastebin  -- hardly a credible source, but the contents of the document appear legitimate. If these credits are incorrect, it is unlikely that they were completely fabricated.  The album is 14 tracks long with a runtime of 74 minutes. Guest appearances include Kanye West, Andre 3000, D'Angelo,  Q-Tip ,  Anderson .Paak , Bilal, Robert Glasper, and Thundercat. Producers include Kanye West,  Terrace Martin , Sounwave, DJ Dahi, Thundercat, Flying Lotus,  Cardo , and  Swizz Beatz . Rick Rubin's name appears as an "additional producer" on several songs.
