Where is Lisa Fischer?

In 1991 a reluctant back-up singer to Luther Vandross. Tina Turner, Mick Jagger, Billy Ocean, Melba Moore to name a few content at being a vocal advocate agrees at the behest of famed Singer Sir Luther recorded a soulful ballet that would leave the world wanting. She is presumptuously the most anticipated artists of all time; years after her most wonderful assault on our ears, heart, mind, and other things. :-)

The grammy award winning singer was so anticipated by her generation of fans that they have passed that anticipation genetically or by discovery to a whole new generation. This anticipation continues to surface every so many years in 2005 Jet magazine published this article:

I believe it is the death of femininity, sentuality, passion, originality, drive, commitment, and class that has everyone scrawling back to retro music in search of grounding. 

Lisa Fischer is an artist that is well in tune with her kismet, this is something we all have to learn from her. Everyone strives to be in the limelight and some of us miss our mark. To have such precision and to stick with it is a true testament of her Divine connection. I am very hopeful that Lisa would come back to the for front and show the young girls how it is done.
