Maia Campbell Arrested in California

Maia Campbell, the actress who starred alongside LL Cool J in the sitcom "In the House," has been arrested. No word yet on why Campbell is behind bars but the daughter of the late novelist and journalist Bebe Moore Campbell, has had a rocky road lately.

There were speculations that the child star is involved in drug use and is suffering bouts of bipolar disorder. Videos of her have popped up on YouTube showing an out-of-touch Maia.

In the '90s, Maia Campbell starred in the hit sitcom In the House with LL Cool J and Debbie Allen.
 
In 1998, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder after acting out on set. After having her daughter in 2000, Maia stopped taking her medication and lost custody of her. Maia then turned to drugs and was arrested multiple times. A viral video showing her looking disheveled and acting erratically also hit the Internet.
