Undercover Brothers: Not-So-Famous Brothers of Famous Celebs
We’ve covered the not so famous sisters of famous celebrities, and now it’s time to move on to the brothers! These are the anti-Rob Kardashians and anti-Teenys. Some of these celebs you would’ve assumed to be only children but guess what, they’re not. Check out the behind the scenes bros of some of our favorite black celebs.
Many people know that Spike Lee has a sister, Joie Lee, because she’s been cast in so many of his films, but did you know that Spike also has two brothers who both work behind the scenes in the moving making biz. Youngest brother Cinque Lee is a director, writer and actor himself and David is a cinematographer.
Nas’ younger brother Jabari Fret, who goes by the name Jungle, was part of Nas’ Bravehearts crew (remember Oochie Wally?). Interestingly enough, his brother and cousin Nashawn make up the core group of Bravehearts. Their last studio album, however, dropped in 2003.
Like Jay-Z’s sisters, Jigga’s older brother Eric Carter stays out of the limelight. Many people know of Eric by the infamous story of how Jay-Z shot him in the shoulder over a stolen ring when he was 12. From his tracks, it seems that it’s one of the most regrettable moments of Jigga’s life.
Will Smith is the second of four children. His only brother, Harry, is a twin. Together, they run a real estate development agency called Treyball Development Inc. in Beverly Hills. We’re gonna guess that Will is only associated with the company in name that he helped set up with his younger bro.
Don’t Tendaji and Sanaa Lathan have the coolest names? Sanaa’s brother is a popular DJ who often caters to the Hollywood celebrity crowd.
Good looks run in the family. All we know of Terrence J’s cutey patootie brother Fred Whitaker is that he’s a constant party companion to his brother and also helps to “manage” his career.
Is Rihanna a good role model to her younger brothers Rorrey and Rajad Fenty? Rorrey is embarking on a music career of his own and Rajad, who is much younger than the two, is still in school obviously.
Pharrell Williams has two younger brothers (he has other half-siblings as well), Cato Williams (pictured above) and Psolomon, and it’s obvious that one of ‘em followed in his footsteps. Well, at least followed his love of skateboarding as 28-year-old Cato is a professional skateboarder.
We don’t know what Monica’s only sibling, Montez, by both her mother and father does but here he is.
Check out this cutie. Jada’s younger brother Caleeb Pinkett is a 31-year-old actor who has even made guest appearances on his sisters’ show Hawthorne. He’s also works as a producer and writer. It must be nice to have those heavyweight Hollywood connections.
