Nene Leakes Is The 'Mistress Of Sensuality' In 'Zumanity'
The reality star is a special guest for a 10-show engagement in the popular Vegas production.
Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Nene Leakes is showing off her steamier side in a 10-show engagement with the Zumanity, one of the sexier and more risqué shows produced by Cirque du Soleil on the Las Vegas strip.
On
Friday night, Leakes took to the stage in a revealing, shimmering
number that showed off her assets and her talents, which she developed,
in part, over the weeks she participated on Dancing With The Stars this last season.
Her role as the "mistress of sensuality" marks the first time Zumanity
has introduced a celebrity as part of its show in the 10 years that it
has run on the Vegas strip, and the first time Cirque du Soleil has
worked with a special guest celeb in the three decades that they've been
putting on shows.
Zumanity is a celebration of the human form and of sexuality. With
some nudity, a lot of steamy physicality and even what appears to be a
mock orgy at its conclusion. However, it's a delicate and artistic look
at the sensual topics it explores, like all of Cirque du Soleil's
beloved shows.
"It's been an
incredible journey with Cirque du Soleil and costume designer Gilbert
Chagoury,” Leakes said in a statement to the press. "I am honored to
take the Zumanity stage this week as the 'Mistress of Sensuality,' an experience I will never forget!"
