New CW TV Show “Containment” Has A Rush Casting Call Out for Atlanta Area Talent
New TV show “Containment” is coming to the CW this fall and are now in production and casting for a variety of small roles.
The series is filming in Atlanta and seeking local talent to fill a variety of small roles in the TV show. The show’s casting directors are looking for adults, ages 18+ who are available to work tomorrow. Talent interested must apply ASAP. Please see below for all the details.
“Containment” is based on the European series “Cordon” and takes a look at what may happen if a deadly virus was to hit a heavily populated area in a major city. The show is set in Atlanta where an unknown virus hits an urban area. Authorities scramble to contain the outbreak by creating a quarantine zone leaving those stuck inside the quarantine fighting for their lives and on their own. “Containment” takes a look at what happens when loved ones are torn apart and the unlikely heroes that arise out of tragedy.
“The Vampire Diaries” creator, Julie Plec is behind “Containment.” The new CW series is written by Julie Plec and directed by David Nutter and is part of CW’s 2015 / 2016 fall line up. Starring in “Containment” are David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood, Kristen Gutoskie, Claudia Black, George Young, Hanna Mangan Lawrence and Trevor St. John.
By the way, 2 other CW shows are also filming right now, “The Vampire Diaries” and it’s spin-off “The Originals” and both shows also have been releasing quite a few casting calls for extras in the Atlanta area.

CORDON PEDESTRIANS w/ CARS — Males or Females, any ethnicity, ages 18+, looking for character types. These pedestrians have been quarantined for several days now so we need our extras to look unkempt and rough around the edges. Ladies please submit photos with NO makeup and/or washed hair. Men please submit photos with facial hair. Please include make, model, color, and year along with a photo of your car. SEDANS ONLYS, NO WHITE, RED, OR YELLOW CARS.*
