U Won’t Believe What Dough Boy From Boyz N Da Hood Does For A Living Now!

Well look at who we found! It’s “Doughboy” from “Boyz N Da Hood!” Remember him? If you’ve seen the movie, how could you forget him right? He was the lil’ dude who played the kid version of rapper, Ice Cube’s character and one of his most memorable on-screen exchanges was the one between he and his brother, “Ricky” over a girl they were both crushing on:

Doughboy: “That’s my lady, homie, her name is Brandy.” Ricky: “Man, she ain’t your woman, she my woman.”

Doughboy: “How can she be your woman, when she my lady?”

Mind you they were only about 10 and 11 years old when they were saying those lines, LOL.

Today at 36 years old, “Doughboy” has chosen a completely different path in life and we thought it was quite interesting. After “Boyz N Da Hood,” Baha Jackson went on to have a small role in “Poetic Justice.”
I know what you’re thinking, none of us over here were able to remember him in that movie either, so we actually had to go back and re-watch it to see what role he played and if you blinked twice, you probably missed him, but he was in there and the name of his character was, wait for it…”Baha.” Baha also went on to have small roles in the films, “3 Ninjas” and “Mr. Jones.” After that, he disappeared from the game and has now re-appeared as a grown man in the new role of his life…

“Doughboy” is now the executive chef at an Atlanta, Ga. Restaurant, where he’s worked for years. He reportedly goes by the name of…wait for it…Chef Dough! He pretty much lives a low key lifestyle, but appears to enjoy his chef life now. Here are the photos we were able to dig up of Baha Jackson from a few years ago and if you look closely you can still see the younger “Doughboy’s” face in his now.

Baha has also had a couple run-in with the law based on this recorded 2013 when he was 34 years old, but there isn’t much info on what he was actually arrested for.

Other than that slight hiccup, Baha “Doughboy” Jackson has been on the straight and narrow as a head chef in east Atlanta. Ga. cookin’ up a storm like only Chef Dough can.

Baha probably goes unrecognized on his job now, because he looks a lot different from the days when he and his young homies saw that dead body lying in the grass on “Boyz N Da Hood,” but we Old Schoolers will always remember him as “Doughboy.” Keep doing your thing Chef, we see you!
