Ciara is gearing up to drop the visuals  to her second single  off of her     album “One Woman Army“.  The singer released the first single “Sweat” feat. 2Chainz this past summer but the song failed to gain popularity so Ciara’s team has interested a slower ballad song instead.  After listening to the song in it’s entirety, Ciara could make a strong comeback with her latest track.
I get that the uptempo tracks ['Sweat', 'Living it Up'  may be the direction the record label is going for Ciara but both of her previous songs fail to even get a radio buzz and was in no comparison to that of Chris Brown "Turn It Up" ,  Rihanna "We Found Love" or even Nicki Minaj's "Starships" .
R&b ballads fit Ciara very well and was a huge part of her mark in the industry [in addition to her incredib;e dance skills] and [given her hiatus from music]she  probably needs to lean more towards her R&B roots and win back her core audiences first before marketing a plan to expand her fanbase.
Of course rumors suggest that the song is in reference to one of Ciara’s previous relationships  Amare’ Stoudemire /and or 50 cent. Well, Ciara quickly denied that the song was in relation to Amare’ but she never fully denied that it wasn’t about 50 cent. In an earlier interview with Essence, when asked about the song Ciara said:
“It’s safe to assume that the song is about someone that I really loved. [Amar'e] was a sweetheart to me, but it’s definitely not about him.”
Then Ciara was asked if was about anyone that is famous, and here’s what she responded:
“It’s someone that I really loved. They’ll know who they are when they hear the song.”
Here’s the teaser video and full song below:
