Video Debut: Katy Perry's "Part of Me"


Katy Perry is trading her candy girl costume for marine fatigues!

The music video for her latest hit "Part of Me" just dropped, and you can see it here on toofab.

In the video, Katy breaks up with her boyfriend (mirroring her real-life split from husband Russell Brand) and decides to enlist in the marines. The pop star filmed the video at Camp Pendleton in California and got very physical. Check it out for yourself, below:





The video is a departure from her more whimsical "Teenage Dream" and "Firework" videos, but it's not the first with a military theme. In the video for "Thinking of You," Katy plays a woman whose lover is killed in World War II France.
