Macklemore to run for Mayor?

It's been a big year for local rapper Macklemore who's independent album, "The Heist" outed Mumford and Sons for the #1 spot on the iTunes charts and just this week, sold a million copies of first single "Thrift Shop". But now he's setting his sights on the future, 2025 to be exact when he says his rap career will be winding down and he'll have time for even bigger things like politics, and running for Mayor of Seattle. "Politics is the new Hip-Hop" he says.... whatever that means. He also touched on what his platform might include, with a focus on transit:"We need a modern transportation system. We're a growing city we need to meet those needs, and hopefully that means hover boards. In 2025 I'll make sure all the kids in Seattle get hover boards."
