Albuquerque casting call for movie extras

ID2 filming in Albuquerque has released another casting call for talent.


The movie is looking for a few people to play gas station customers and their passengers. The scene will be set up to look like you are  getting the heck out of dodge and needs people who have vehicles that they are able to load up with blankets and luggage. The scene is seeking male and female extras of all ethnicities with cars that are not red or white. Ages 18 to 65 of all types are welcome to apply to be paid extras on the movie.


“Independence Day 2“ will be called “Independence Day Forever”. The sci-fi alien drama will be split into 2 parts. “Independence Day Forever Part 1”  is filming now and scheduled to be released in theaters in the summer of 2016. According to the film’s IMDB page, ID2 has a budget of $200,000,000.  “Independence Day 2: Independence Day Forever” is set 20 years after the original “Independence Day” and will see many of the original cast return.  Jeff Goldblum, Vivica A. Fox, Bill Pullman, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Liam Hemsworth, Travis Tope and Jessie Usher are all starring in the new film.  Many were hoping that Will Smith would be returning for the “Independence Day” sequel but according to Geeksnack, Liam Hemsworth, brother of Chris Hemsworth will be replacing Will Smith as the lead role in ID2.





Please note that this film is only hiring extras that are local to the Albuquerque area and talent must have New Mexico ID in order to be considered.

We obviously do not have call times yet so you would need to be be fully 100% available. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the work dates and call times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!


Pay rate for EXTRAS is $72.00 for 8 hours ($9.00/hour with an 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. Possibility of higher rate. You will receive a check in the mail usually 10-14 business days AFTER you work.


Car/Pickup/SUV drivers will receive an additional $20-$30 for use of their vehicle (rate depends on whether you are driving or parked)

EXTRAS:
GAS STATION CUSTOMERS with VEHICLES: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-65, variety of types, MUST have a working vehicle (no red, white) that you can use in the scene. We will also ask you to load your car as if you are fleeing town (luggage, blankets, etc.) New Mexico locals! Not hiring out of state talent.


GAS STATION CUSTOMER PASSENGERS: male and female, all ethnicities, age range 18-65, variety of types, will be passengers in the above listed vehicles or pedestrians traveling along an ‘escape’ route. New Mexico locals! Not hiring out of state talent.
