Telemundo Nationwide Talent Search and Open Auditions for New Boy Band “Menudo”
The search is on to find the members of the next big Spanish language boy band… Menudo.
Telemundo is bringing back Menudo and this time teen boys nationwide have a chance to audition for one of the 5 spots in the group. The production is looking for Hispanic, bi-lingual kids and teen boys between the ages of 10 and 15. Boys must be able to speak Spanish and sing. The ability to dance is also a plus. Boys nationwide are able to apply by way of a video audition. There are also open casting calls going on in the Miami area this weekend.

Menudo was the 1st boy band to become a global hit. Menudo holds the all time record for consecutive sold out concerts at New York Radio City Hall and has record breaking live performances with over 500,000 fans at the Mexico Azteca Stadium and 300,000 in Brazil. They have sold more than 40 million records worldwide and have earned over $1 billion from concerts, record sales, sponsorships, merchandising and product placement. Menudo also presented Michael Jackson his first solo Grammy Award and started Ricky Martin’s career. Do you have what it takes to be the next Menudo?
The top 25 finalists selected by Fans will be invited to Miami, Florida, for the Grand Finals. Finalists will participate in the live auditions in front of a panel of celebrity judges who will choose the next 5 members of the new Menudo!
Submission Rules:
1. Create a Showpitch Account. To enter you must have a Showpitch Talent Stage.
2. Record a 3 minute video. Select your favorite song to sing from our library of songs in the resource section & include:
Your best vocal performance with choreographed dance moves. 30 second message that states why you want to be in Menudo.
3. Requirements. Contestants must be male between the ages of 10-15.
