Katt Williams Has A Meltdown In Oakland + Arrest Footage

Less than 24 hours after Katt Williams got arrested in California, footage of the incident has now surfaced online and shows the troubled comedian threatening to nix an Oakland comedy show.

Despite his on-camera threat, Williams' show reportedly did not get canceled.
Katt Williams was FURIOUS when Oakland police arrested him Thursday morning ... so furious he threatened to cancel his show in O-Town today over the experience -- and TMZ has the arrest footage. In the video, Katt says "Call Live Nation ... call the radio station ... the show's canceled." Katt was referring to his show tonight at Oakland's Oracle Arena -- but he was bluffing ... because we called the venue to see if it's still on ... and they said yes. Katt also seems to claim he was outnumbered during the alleged hotel fight -- saying, "Four dudes ... one of me" -- but the audio isn't clear. (TMZ)
Details of his mid-week arrest flooded the Internet Thursday (November 15).
Comedian Katt Williams, in town for a Friday appearance at the Oracle Arena, was being questioned by police in connection with an assault in downtown Oakland, according to police. Another man was hit in the head with a bottle during the scuffle and taken to a hospital after the incident, which happened about 8 p.m. near the Courtyard Marriott in the 900 block of Broadway. Williams, a comedian, actor and rapper, is known for his role as Money Mike in "Friday After Next." (Marin Independent Journal)
No stranger to legal problems, Williams recently got slapped with a $5 million lawsuit.
It's only been a week since a former assistant of Williams filed a lawsuit against him, alleging the comedian caused "permanent injuries" sustained from a closed-fist punch. Add that to a few incidences of confronting hecklers in his audience -- one of which ended in a shoving match -- and a few arrests for "felony intimidation of a witness" and carrying a concealed weapon, and you have one hi-larious jokester ... or just another Wednesday night in Oakland. Outside of his publicized woes, the comedian is expected to star in an upcoming Scary Movie 5horror-parody flick.
The actor, rapper and stand-up comedian joins fellow scandal-plagued stars Lindsay Lohan, Mike Tyson, Heather Locklear and Charlie Sheen in the fifth outing of the popular spoof franchise. Katt Williams is shrugging off his recent legal troubles and feud with Faizon Loveand has landed a starring role in Dimension's Scary Movie 5. (The Hollywood Reporter)
