Online Auditions for Speaking Roles in “Assassins Creed”
New “Assassins Creed” movie seems to be on a nationwide search for new talent to join the cast. The movie’s casting directors are seeking to fill a few principal roles. They are seeking teen girls between the ages of 14 and 18 as well as an actress between 26 and 30. The roles are open to talent via an online audition process that has been setup by the production. They are seeking talent with experience in street dance, hip hop, parkour or acrobatics. No previous acting experience is required. There is no indication of what the deadline to apply for the speaking roles may be, so interested talent should jump right on this because the movie is scheduled to film this summer.
“Assassins Creed” will be directed by Justin Kurzel and will film in London this summer. The film was originally supposed to film last year for a 2015 realease date but ran into some delays which pushed the schedule back a year. Currently, it is scheduled to be released in December of 2016.
According to the IMDB page for the sci-fi action adventure “Assassins Creed” will focus on a bartender named Desmond Miles, is abducted by a company called “Abstergo Industries” to explore the mind of his ancestor, Altaïr Ibn La’Ahad, in order to recover a sacred artifact.
“Assassins Creed” will be based on the Ubisoft video game of the same name. Ubisoft is co-publishing the movie with New Regency. According to a Forbes article, Fassbender will be playing 2 characters. He will be playing the present day lead as well as his Assassin ancestor. The film will supposedly have many flashback scenes between the present day and the past.
