CBS Amazing Race 2015 / 2016 season Casting Call / Try Outs in Detroit

The reality competition “The Amazing Race” will be holding open auditions shortly in the Detroit area.


If you have dreamed of traveling around the world… on a reality show, well here is your shot. The Amazing Race  is a reality competition that lasts about 25 days. The teams set off on a trip around the world and complete challenges to find out what their next destination is.  Every destination offers a new challenge for each team to test their mental or physical strength and teams competing must complete the challenge to find out where they are racing to next. Every week the fastest teams move on and a losing team gets eliminated from the show. Teams that fall behind or finish last get eliminated off the show, week by week, until the final team left wins the “Amazing Race” and the huge $1,000,000 prize that goes along with the big finish.  At stake is a huge cash prize…. with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $1 million!


Are you and your teammate ready to set off on the adventure of a lifetime and ready to win the whopping $1 million prize at the end of the challenge? If so, head on out to to CBS 62 on Tuesday the 2nd – CBS open casting call for The Amazing Race in Detroit.  The Amazing Race pits 11 teams of 2 members each  against each other. Those coming to the Detroit auditions must do so with their teammate.





Tuesday, June 2nd, from 11am-3pm
The open call will be hosted by the Michigan International Speedway and held at  CBS 62 Studios



CBS 62 Studios are located at:
26905 W. 11 Mile Road
Southfield, MI 48033


Only competitors ages 21 and older, are invited to audition at the open call on June 2nd. Those attending must bring a government issued photo ID in order to get in.



Both team members must be present at registration together. So grab your buddy, spouse, co-worker, brother, mother or cousin to try out with you.


Be prepared to wait in line and be prepared to have your audition video taped. Those tapes will then be forwarded to the show’s casting directors. Please be sure to  review the Official Eligibility Requirements and all talent applying for The Amazing Race in Detroit must fill out and bring with them a  Video Release Form.


Just like last year, CBS 62 will also be hosting a food drive for  Forgotten Harvest.  Be sure to also bring a non-perishable item with you to the Casting Call and help feed the hungry.
